About The Dreams Resource Guide

This web site has been designed specifically for providing information about interpreting your dreams and to provide related articles and services related to dreaming that you might find interesting, educational and useful.

My personal interest in the meaning of dreams started many years ago while working in a program with autistic and schizaphrenic adolescents. The program highly valued dream interpretation as a way to communicate with the kids. All of the kids in the program were anxious to wake up in the morning, draw their dream symbols on paper with crayon, and attend a morning meeting with the dream elders. The dream elders would help each of the kids interpret their dreams — much like visiting Santa once a year to tell him what you wanted for Christmas. Not only did the kids get a great deal of enjoyment from all the attention, the staff received some remarkable insight into each kid's psyche.

Many years have passed since I did that kind of work but hardly a day goes by when I don't think about those kids in some way. I've lost touch with them over the years. All are in their late thirties or early forties (goodness, time does fly). But, I've never lost touch with the fact that my dreams are trying to tell me something and I need to figure out what the message is.

The Dream Resource Guide is a pretty new site and will grow over time. I hope your stay here is enjoyable and fun.
